The East Coast IFR Experience

Flying 3,000 nm in the System with a Master Instructor

A proficient pilot is in command of the entire flight. They study the weather, know their airplane, and obey their instruments. They stay ahead of the flight. They make the system work for them rather than simply taking what comes. Ride with one of the most accomplished and experienced instrument pilots in the general aviation community up and down the east coast of the USA as he demonstrates what it is to be pilot in command.

Rich has provided 9,300 hours of flight instruction, logging 35,000 spins along the way. Learn - Do - Fly

A good pilot is a healthy mix of mathematician, scientist and athlete, part mechanic and all curiosity.  They must know everything about their airplane;  control surfaces, power plant, the avionic systems, tire pressure.  Because, while the heart of an airplane is metal, fabric or composite;  the bloodstream fuel and oil, its brain is the person who flies it.
